KAGAMI charts
Look at price charts, add indicators, and see an Outlook on the chart.
KAGAMI shows price charts. A chart shows how a price moved over time.
Every signed-in account can use KAGAMI for free.
Open KAGAMI
- Click KAGAMI in the menu on the left. It is in the DOJO group.
Not signed in? You can still look at charts on our free Charts page.
The chart
The chart shows the price as bars, also called candles. Each bar is one slice of time.
- To move the chart: drag it left or right.
- To zoom: scroll with your mouse, or pinch on a touch screen.
- To change the time of each bar: click the timeframe button at the top of the chart. Pick a time, for example 15 minutes or 1 day. This is called the timeframe. Crypto charts also have very short timeframes: 1, 5, 10, 15 and 30 seconds. Other markets, like stocks and FX, start at 1 minute.
The chart refreshes about every 15 seconds while the page is open.
Find a market
- Click the symbol name at the top left of the chart.
- Type a name or a symbol, for example AAPL.
- Click the market you want in the list.
You can filter the list by market type, like Stock or Forex.
US stocks may show Connect your broker to chart US stocks. Stock data has its own licence for each account. So stock charts are not open to every account yet. Other markets, like FX and metals, stay free.
Indicators
An indicator is a line or a shape drawn from the price. It helps you read the chart.
- Click Indicators at the top of the chart.
- Search for an indicator by name.
- Click it. It appears on the chart.
Our own indicators are in the KAGAMI group of that list. Their names start with CBc, for example CBc MACD 12-26-9.
To remove an indicator, point at its name on the chart and click the ✕.
Each indicator has its own page in this guide. It explains what you see, how people read it, and the exact rules:
- Common indicators: EMA, SMA, VWAP, Bollinger Bands, SuperTrend, Volume, Volume Profile, RSI.
- Ours: CBc MACD, CBc BullFlag Scalping, CBc Gaps and Windows, CBc Advance Smart Money.
- Phoenix: Range Detector, Auto Trendline, Range Box Breakout, Auto Range Box, Next Candle Bias, RSI Zone Engine.
Pro indicators
Most indicators are free. Two of ours come with KAGAMI Pro:
- CBc BullFlag Scalping looks for a short pause after a sharp rise in price. It draws the entry, the stop and the target of the latest one.
- CBc Gaps and Windows looks for days that opened above the high of the day before. It draws red lines above the price and one green line below it.
Without KAGAMI Pro, their names end in · Pro in the list. If you add one, nothing is drawn. A box opens instead. It says the indicator comes with KAGAMI Pro, on sale soon. Click OK to close it.
See an Outlook on the chart
- Open an Outlook in the DOJO.
- Click Load in KAGAMI ↗.
KAGAMI opens in a new tab. The Outlook's prices are drawn on the chart: the entry, the stop (SL) and the targets (TP1, TP2…). See Read an Outlook.
Good to know
- KAGAMI remembers your last market and timeframe on this browser.
- Indicators and drawings you add are not saved. They are gone when you reload the page.
- Charts are for learning. They are not advice to buy or sell.
